Colophon
“Colophon” comes from the Greek “κολοφων,” meaning ‘a summit,’ ‘top,’ ‘finishing.’ It is a description of the details and methods behind a publication, often found on the last few pages of a book.
Design and Development
Neoteric Design redesigned the LPCC website in 2004, and completed a refresh in 2008. The refresh incorporated feedback and functionality from the LPCC Website Committee, Board, and staff. Neoteric redesigns websites with a focus on customer needs, site goals, ease of use and engaging design.
Technical
We use Adobe Photoshop, Omnigraffle Professional, and TextMate to create this site. The site runs on PHP. Content is maintained using MovableType. A wide range of useful plugins are in use (such as Wufoo and Google's Picassa). The site is authored using structural XHTML, and complies with the 1.0 transitional web standards as set by the W3C.
